– Alien creatures hunt humans by sound: they are humanoid-insectoid, about eight feet tall with scaly flesh, long arms that have pointed claws and their legs look like grasshopper legs with hoof-like feet they have slimy eyes, hundreds of huge sharp teeth, and plates around their heads and faces that open up and we hear the aliens growling, roaring, shrieking, and click-chattering. Several lines of dialogue are in sign language with subtitles and/or accompanying spoken language. Also with Cillian Murphy, John Krasinski and Djimon Hounsou. While trying to avoid making any sound that will attract the predatory creatures, they endeavor to find the tactic that will finally destroy them. Picking up where “A Quiet Place” left off, the surviving members of a family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe) search for other survivors of the ongoing alien attack.
